Amnion Stem Cell Treatment

What is Amnion Stem Cell?  Amnion stem cell tissue is different growth factors obtained from amniotic membrane. It is a Non-surgical and non-steroidal option to help relieve pain, reduce scar tissue formation and enhance healing.

What are Stem Cells?  Stem cells are the fundamental cells living in the human body. Their most amazing feature is that they can become many types of cell, from skin cells to muscle, from bone to cartilage. Today, stem cells are of great interest with clinical applications.

How Does Amniotic Stem Cell Therapy Work?  Stem cell treatment takes advantage of the body’s ability to repair itself. The amniotic stem cells can jump-start the healing process by creating the cells the damaged tissues need.

What are the benefits of Amniotic Stem Cell Treatment?

  • Amniotic stem cell therapy is very safe and effective.

  • Amniotic stem cells rely on naturally occurring anti-inflammatory agents and contain NO STEROIDS.

  • Amniotic stem cells help lubricate the cartilage since they contain hyaluronic acid (a natural lubricant of the joint)

  • Amniotic stem cells contain growth factors which stimulate tissue growth.

  • There is no risk of patient rejection with amniotic stem cells.

  • Amniotic fluid is a highly concentrated source of stem cells. This makes it preferable over embryonic stem cells and the patient’s own stem cells (from fat or bone marrow).

Osteoarthritis, ligament, and tendon injuries are very common problems. Stem cell therapy for knee, feet, ankles, hips, elbows, wrist, hand, etc. is a non-surgical alternative for those who suffer from pain.

What to expect after Amnotic Stem Cell Treatment?

Injection is performed in clinic and administered with local anesthetic nerve block in the area of concern. There will be limited ambulation post-injection to allow for recovery, per doctor's recommendations.

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP)

PRP therapy is type of injection containing growth factors derived from your own blood.

This type of injection helps improve healing and support cell growth. It is used for chronic tendon, ligament or muscle injuries such as Achilles tendonitis or plantar fasciitis, arthritis and improved healing for surgery patients.

What to expect?

Upon arrival to clinic for the procedure, blood will be drawn from the patient. Growth factors will be derived utilizing special equipment. Growth factors will be administered in the area of concern with local anesthetic nerve block prior to injection. There will be limited ambulation post-injection to allow for recovery per doctor's recommendations.

Wound Care Therapy with Biologic Tissue Grafting

Special biologic products that contain growth factors and collagen to expediate wound closure

Wounds that have difficulty healing, especially found in patients with poor circulation, diabetes, neuropathy, autoimmune disorders, etc.

What to expect?

Application of graft is done in office then dressed and bandaged. This procedure is typically performed 3-5 times.
