What is it?
A hammer toe is a fixed or flexible contracture, or bending of the toe joints. This bending causes the toe to appear like an upside-down V when looked at from the side.
​
What are the symptoms?
Pain to toes; Corns or calluses that can lead to open sores
Redness and swelling; and Difficulty wearing shoes/irritation from shoes
